English First Foundation files Amcus Brief
ENGLISH FIRST FOUNDATION is involved in a case before the U.S. Supreme Court -- a case that is essential for us to stay on mission in making English the official language of our nation.
ENGLISH FIRST FOUNDATION has filed an amicuscuriae brief, a “friend of the court” brief, to the United States Supreme Court within the week. This brief supports Arizona’s recent immigration law which is aimed at identifying and deporting illegal aliens.
Sadly, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has barred Arizona from enforcing four key provisions in this law. What this means is that unelected federal judges, donning their black robes, are forcing citizens to pay the enormous costs of bilingual education for the children of illegal aliens and to provide for their medical and welfare needs, as well.
Our brief will give powerful evidence why the Supreme Court Justices must overturn this foolhardy appellate decision. You might remember that last year, we won a tremendous victory at the U.S. Supreme Court -- a victory which overturned legislation aimed at limiting our ability to expose the anti-English agenda of many congressmen.
